FAQs:1. What does it cost to live at Windcrest? Please contact our Marketing Director for information about pricing and services.
2. Can we take our loved one home for the weekend? Yes. All we ask is that you let the nursing staff know that you are taking your loved one for an outing and for how long. He/She will then give you any scheduled medications that may be needed. We ask that you sign the resident out on the sign-out sheet. There is no need to give advance notice.
3. Will Medicare pay for my loved one’s stay? No, Medicare does not pay for services at Windcrest.
4. Is there a long wait list to get into Windcrest? We do have an extensive wait list for our Medicaid-allocated beds. For those able to pay from private funds or who have long term care insurance, the wait is less.
5. Are all of your rooms private? No, we have only 4 private rooms in our care center. The semi-private rooms are designed to give residents as much privacy as possible.
