History 

Since 1966, families have looked to Sears Methodist Retirement System for guidance and direction in the field of aging.  As the needs of an aging population have grown, Sears has continued to explore and implement programs and services to address these needs. 

Wesley Woods is a state-of-the-art campus that specializes in the care of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.  After careful study and research of the Waco area, and with the experience of managing two other Alzheimer's specific campuses within the Sears Methodist family, Wesley Woods was developed.   Wesley Woods has enhanced the quality of life for hundreds of friends and family members struggling with Alzheimer's and related dementias since they opened in January of 2004.
