History The Parks Methodist Retirement Village was established in 1986. Sears Methodist Retirement System's association in Odessa began June 1997 through the acquisition of The Parks from the Good Samaritan Society of America. This community provides 90 nursing beds, 23 assisted living apartments, 22 independent living patio homes, and 33 executive homes near the city's country clubs and new residential developments.
