HistoryOpened in August 1997, this $30 million campus is located on 40 acres in the northwest area of Amarillo. At the time it was built, the Craig Methodist Retirement Community was the largest construction project in Amarillo, Texas, in the 1990's. This continuum of care community includes 60 nursing beds, a 60 bed specialized Alzheimer's Care Center, 40 assisted living apartments, 108 independent living apartments, and 65 independent cottage homes.
