Services at the Canyons:

• The noon meal is served 7 days per week.
• Housekeeping is done monthly unless resident asks for more frequent cleaning.
• Laundry rooms are on each floor at no charge to the residents.
• Maintenance is included.
• 24-hour security
• Scheduled transportation twice weekly.
• Postage stamp sales

Amenities at the Canyons:

• Recreation room open 24 hours a day including treadmills, stationary bikes, stair steppers, large television, video exercise tapes, pool table, piano, organ, large record collection with record player
• Chapel with services every Sunday and communion monthly
• Full service hair salon open 3 days per week
• Coffee shop open daily with free coffee and pastriues, muffins, etc.
• Library includes a large collection of videos and books on tape
• A very large country store for the shopping convenience of residents
• Front porch and covered patio
• West lawn area includes circular walking track
• Two large aquariums with fresh water fish and cages/pens for resident finches and 3 cockatiels
• Numerous areas devoted to card, domino playing and assembling jigsaw puzzles

Activities include:

• Exercise classes scheduled three times per week
• Twice weekly bingo
• Monthly pot luck dinners and birthday parties
• Bible study weekly
• Home Health provides blood pressure checks twice weekly
• Weekly outings to enjoy lunch, shopping, fishing, movies and museums
