About The Canyons

A gated community for independent living, The Canyons' seven story building offers comfortable, secure apartment homes to seniors on a fixed income.  Our apartments are fully equipped and have wonderful views of Texas Panhandle sunrises and sunsets, especially those upper apartment floors!  We provide daily delicious meals that not only meet the nutritional needs of our residents, they also provide nourishment to the mind and spirit through fellowship and good conversation with other residents and staff.  We provide housekeeping, well appointed laundry facilities, on call maintenance and 24-hour security to take away the worry, allowing our residents to enjoy their days with more important activities.  Our community has a large country store, great recreation room, comfortable library, hair salon, the 'Sit 'n Sip' Coffee Shop, a chapel, lots of outdoor spaces and a lovely dining room.  We also offer transportation to medical appointments and weekly outings.
