We take great pride in the fact that Sears Methodist Center (SMC) was "where it all began" for Sears Methodist Retirement System.   A great deal of responsibility lies on the shoulders of those who provide the day-to-day care of our residents. We feel we are entrusted with these wonderful individuals and that they are as unique and special as the members of our own families.

Sears Methodist Center was built on 14 acres nestled in one of Abilene's most established and beautiful neighborhoods. We offer retirement living that spans from luxurious independent cottages to 24-hour licensed nursing care in our state-of-the-art nursing center. Also, assisted living is available. Our residents enjoy an active lifestyle with as much or as little monitoring as needed.
