History Meadow Lake will be the first continuing care retirement community in Tyler consisting of Garden Apartment Homes and Executive Homes, Assisted Living/Memory Care and Skilled Nursing all on one gated campus. The Meadow Lake information center opened its doors September 6, 2006 located at 2129 S. Broadway in Tyler. The information center has as the main attraction a full scale 1133 sq. ft. Garden Apartment Home for touring. In the spring of 2007 on the property located off CR 165 in Tyler we opened our 2000 sq. ft. model Executive Home for tours. On April 10, 2008 Meadow Lake held its official groundbreaking ceremony on the property site. Approximately 200 people attended the event held on the beautiful 92 acre property. Meadow Lake will open to our first residents in 2009. Meadow Lake is sponsored by Sears Methodist Retirement System, a faith-based organization known for its expertise in developing quality communities and services for adults 55 and better.
